Last month we had the privilege of providing audio production for the Bass Drop Festival — and what a night it was. Here is our recap of one of the most electrifying events of the year.
The Setup
For Bass Drop, we deployed our full Funktion One rig: four EVO7 tops, eight F124 subs, and a complete Funktion One monitor system for the stage. Setup started at 8 AM and the system was dialed in by afternoon sound check.
The Lineup
The festival featured an incredible roster of local and touring DJs, each bringing their own unique energy to the stage. The sound system handled everything from deep house to drum and bass with equal clarity and power.
The Crowd
Over 2,000 people filled the venue, and the energy was electric from the first beat to the last. The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive — many commented that it was the best-sounding outdoor event they had ever attended.
Looking Forward
